Adopt a backpack to help students start the school year prepared to learn.

Every August, Coastside Hope partners with Holy Family Episcopal Church to distribute backpacks they fill with school supplies to ensure Coastside students start the school year right. During the Coastside Community School Backpack Drive, each child receives a new quality backpack, a tote filled to the brim with grade-appropriate school supplies and as many children’s books as they want.

This year, up to 500 students from Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, and Half Moon Bay will register for a backpack and that number may grow. We need your help to meet the demand.

A donation of just $60 provides a fully stocked backpack for one student in grades K–12. You can fund one, two, or even a whole classroom!
